In my Delicious bookmarks inbox, I received a very interesting link today, pointing to an impressive list of 100 (!) OpenSource Applications for Ubuntu users.
A few of them I knew, of course, but I just discovered that TrueCrypt, the very userfriendly encryption software that I was using on my windows machine a long time ago (in those days I was running an anonymous remailer, so i needed this extra security) has a linux version (Ubuntu .deb) too.
Other software I certainly want to check out: Aptana Studio an open source Ajax development environment, the webeditor Amaya and Kompozer a top-notch WYSIWYG web page program.
Looking forward to checking out all this cool - and free! - software.

No TrueCrypt in those days...
I must have been mistaken. I wasn't using TrueCrypt in my anonymous remailer days...(somewhere around 2000) TrueCrypt didn't exist yet. Mmm, can't remember what software I was using then to secure my computer...
